AI-Generated Sports Campaigns

Paris Saint-Germain Launched a Fully AI-Generated Campaign

The French football club Paris Saint-Germain is making history with the launch of what it claims to be the first fully AI-generated campaign. Departing from traditional marketing methods, Paris Saint-Germain harnessed AI-generated images to showcase its players sporting the new 2024-2025 home kit.

Led by Benjamin Benichou from Drop, the campaign employed advanced AI technologies such as LoRA models for training and Midjourney and Stable Diffusion models for image generation. Additional tools like Magnific and Topaz were used for upscaling, while Photoshop provided the final touches.

The AI-generated campaign launched in May across Paris Saint-Germain official platforms. The initiative featured prominent players like Marquinhos and Warren Zaire-Emery with creative backdrops that fused reality and dream. The response from fans and experts has been overwhelmingly positive.
