adidas Previews a Doctor Doom Colorway of its Stan Smith Sneaker

adidas is known for its collaborations with big-time names in the entertainment industry, most notably working with Kanye West on the YEEZY series. However, with the release of the ‘Doctor Doom’ Stan Smith silhouette, adidas is proving that its creative efforts have no limit.

Doctor Doom has not yet joined the Marvel Universe, but the character has earned a place on one of adidas’ most popular silhouettes. The uppers are dressed in an off-white leather, while Doctor Doom makes his way onto the left shoe’s tongue unit. “DR. DOOM” text is debossed into the leather uppers, and hints of green cover the sneaker’s heel tab and tongue graphics.

The Stan Smith x Doctor Doom collaboration will be released in the coming months via adidas and select retailers. The sneakers currently retail for $130 USD.
