Hi Trend Hunters! My name is Emma and I am interior designaholic and fashion trend watcher.

From 9 to 5 I work as the content coordinator for Personal Creations. In my spare time I offer interior design consulting to residential and commercial parties. I'm also in the process of launching my own home decor blog so stay tuned for more on that soon!

What is unique that's not in your bio?

Growing up I dreamed of being a meteorologist - until I realized how much science was involved!

What's your favorite accomplishment?

My current favorite is the unicorn wall mural I designed for my niece's bedroom. She was so excited!

How do you define cool?

Anything that makes a statement without effort.

What is your secret to uncovering trends?

You can learn a lot about style from mom bloggers and etsy shop owners. Not by copying their projects but by applying that same design elements to your own projects.

What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?

Uncovering new ideas and the being exposed to products not found on the stores.

What are your tips for writing a juicy post?

Find things that put a new spin on the "same old thing."

How do you reset to be creative?

I'm a runner, so that tends to be my outlet for escape and stress relief.

What inspires or excites you?

Solving problems and saving time - these are the things that can really impact someone's life.

Predict something awesome for 2020?

Working in the gift industry, I definitely see big changes ahead in the way we exchange presents. The concept of shopping, wrapping, and delivering a gift is on the outs. I believe the future will bring more innovations from ecommerce companies that will make gift giving easier and more automated than we could ever imagine.
