Tiffany & Co. Debuts Eternity by Tiffany Watch Collection

Tiffany & Co. has unveiled a new timepiece from the Eternity by Tiffany Watch Collection. The silhouette boasts an 18-karat white gold aventurine dial watch featuring a full-pavé diamond bracelet with 512 diamonds totalling over six carats.

The extravagant Eternity dial boasts 12 hand-set diamonds at the hour markers, each cut in a unique shape — from round brilliant, baguette, cushion, Tiffany True, marquise, and Asscher to heart, pear, oval, emerald, triangle, and princess. Tiffany & Co. placed the heart-shaped diamond at the 12-hour marker as a symbol of love.

The Eternity by Tiffany Watch Collection includes a bezel set with 44 round brilliant diamonds in an unbroken line referencing the classic eternity ring design, a crown set with a solitaire diamond using the six-prong design of the iconic Tiffany Setting engagement ring. The bracelet contains 455 round brilliant diamonds.

Trend Themes

  1. Ultra-luxury Gem-integrated Watches — A convergence of high-jewelry gem-setting and horology is creating timepieces that function as both mechanical instruments and wearable fine jewelry, challenging traditional watch pricing and distribution models.
  2. Heritage-iconography in Watch Design — Design motifs borrowed from hallmark engagement and eternity ring iconography are being repurposed into watch components, elevating symbolic storytelling within product narratives and brand heritage monetization.
  3. Artisanal Multi-cut Diamond Dialwork — The use of varied, hand-set diamond cuts as functional hour markers signals a shift toward highly labor-intensive, bespoke dial craftsmanship that differentiates offerings through artisanal scarcity.

Industry Implications

  1. Luxury Watchmaking — Manufacturers that integrate haute-jewelry techniques into watch production are positioned to disrupt traditional segments by creating limited-run, high-margin hybrids that appeal to collectors and investors.
  2. High-jewelry Retail — Retailers accustomed to selling rings and necklaces may see product assortments expand into horological showcases that blend emotional symbolism with timekeeping, redefining in-store display and valuation practices.
  3. Bespoke Jewelry Manufacturing — Specialized workshops focusing on hand-setting and unique gemstone cuts are becoming central to premium watch projects, introducing opportunities for on-demand customization and vertically integrated supply chain models.
