LEGO Brings a Nostalgic Touch with the Buildable Retro Radio Set

LEGO introduces the Icons Retro Radio set which is meant to bring forth a nostalgic energy reminiscent of the music scene in the 50s and 60s. The set is comprised of 906 pieces and when it is fully built, appears to be a classic vintage radio from the 70s.

Builders create the replica down to every intricate detail including the classic tuning and power dials, a sliding frequency switch, an antenna, and a fold-up handle for holding. Once it is complete, the sial turns the sound on and off and it can even play the carious pre-recorded sounds to replicate the actual function of a vintage radio. The back features a place for a smartphone to mount onto and play music as a modern touch.
