20 Music Award Fashions

The MTV EMA's aired last night and featured a star-studded list of presenters, nominees and winners who donned memorable music award fashions. While a sophisticated Ariana Grande donned a long gown that featured sheer panels, newcomer Charli XCX sported a youthful version of the classic black-and-white suit a la Coco Chanel.

Throughout the years, most music award fashions have included daring and wild looks along with some chic and understated styles that were thrown into the mix. While film award shows call for a more formal and toned down look, music award show fashions are much more open for interpretation.

Even if you end up on the Worst Dressed list, chances are you'll have a lot of fun doing it when at a music event.
