The February 2021 kitchen trends include convenience-minded appliances, modern countertop organizers, and more.

Famed Japanese artist Takashi Murakami joined with smart Magazine to create a cheerful pancake pan that leaves the sweet breakfast dish with an imprint of his iconic Flower design, which has been at the center of many other collaborative launches in the past, such as the animated visuals for Billie Eilish's 'you should see me in a crown.' With a non-stick surface and shallow borders, the pan can be used to efficiently create a full stack of pop art flapjacks.

Another feature comes from Yo-Kai Express, a California-based company that's known for its automated ramen machines, which recently introduced a smart cooking appliance called the Takumi for the consumer market. The device functions as a compact meal prepper that allows users to prepare a variety of dishes to be cooked while they're out of the kitchen. Takumi can also be used to make coffee and sanitize household items with steam—among other purposes.
