19 Defining Dictionaries

I have this fear that the more pervasive social media sites and mobile texting becomes, the more we will lose our handle on our own respective languages. Although it’s all well and fine to be able to say something succinctly, I fear that sooner or later our vocabulary may suffer for it.

These defining dictionaries may prevent that—or, at the very least, the idea of these defining dictionaries will.
