The best wedding trends of 2012 ranged from wacky nuptial agreements to some of the most creative proposals around. Both men and women are upping the ante when it comes to professing one's love.

If last year's proposal trends are any indication: bigger is better. Men planned to pop the question in a way both the future wife and everyone around them would remember.
