Top 40 Eco Transportation Trends in April

This list of April 2023 eco transportation trends showcases the latest directions the transportation industry is going in regards to sustainability and environmental friendliness. This month saw the introduction of unique eco concepts to the transportation space, such as coffee pulp and ammonia being used in consumer and commercial vehicles.

One unique introduction this month is the Folkloric Explorer boat from SPES. This is a large fairy-style boat equipped with an electric motor and an array of solar panels. The solar panel roof allows the boat to recharge even while driving, resulting in a range of 25 km per charge when moving at a steady 5km per hour, which is more than enough for most cruises and boat trips. This range can be significantly extended based on sun conditions.

On the other hand, the Abound e-bike from Aventon is an excellent eco-friendly solution for land travel. This bike can carry up to 110lbs of additional cargo on its rear rack and has support for numerous attachments, such as panniers, child seats, fenders, and more. This bike further solidifies e-cargo bikes as a real alternative to full-scale vehicles in urban environments.
