How do you define cool?
Anything that doesn't try to hard and is naturally and magnetically appealing.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
Keep my eyes and ears on multiple traditional and non-traditional news sources. If I notice something once, it's a flash. If I notice it three times...it's a trend.
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
Met Jacob in Detroit and his passion for the company got me hooked.
What is your favorite trend?
Hands-down -- twitter.
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
Be authentic.
How do you reset to be creative?
Living in California is an asset. I sit at my dining room table, look out at my garden and that pretty much does it. Oh...and I walk a lot in nature.
What inspires or excites you?
A great film (especially summer action flicks!) or great book. Doing anything fun with my daughter.
Predict something awesome for 2020?
I'll predict a few things -- medical cures: diabetes, spinal cord injury, genetic code found on Mars, combination of genetic code to produce a child with multiple biological parents.
