14 Pieces of Wearable Art

Wearable works of art could mean so much. In this instance, I like to think of wearable art as crazy pieces that are clearly totally useless but look incredible. The Germination Suit (see below) is one of the best examples. But you know, I was there first--check out my avatar against Gareth Pugh's catwalk show!

Implications - Wearable art is an interesting concept that has been popping up all over the fashion scene. People who crave uniqueness are great targets for fashion that is mixed with art. Businesses can use the concept of 'being as unique as an art piece' to their advantage when targeting those who want to do more than just stand out.
