While the jury is still out on Prop 8 (short for Proposition 8), celebrities have been increasing their vocal support for No on Prop 8.

Comedian Kathy Griffin is a well known gay icon, so it’s not surprising that she’s made this video asking Californians to vote No on Proposition 8. The clip was directed by Dave O’Brien, written and produced by Jonathan “Woody” Woodbeck, and features cameos from Paul James, Val Emmich, Golden Brooks, D. Woods, Marisa Lauren, Karina Smirnoff, Kate French, Cameron Goodman, and Ryan Eggold.

For those living under a rock, Proposition 8, which is titled “Eliminates Right of Same-Sex Couples to Marry Act”, seeks to end same-sex marriage in California with an amendment to the constitution to define marriage as between a man and a woman. Prop 8 was up for vote in California on November 4 elections.
