IntelliDrug is a device only two molar widths in size, made up of stainless steel and polymers, that would contain a drug reservoir and micro fluidic duct shaped like a molar. The concept behind this device is that, at timed intervals, programmed by a doctor, it would release a dose of drugs supplied by the doctor to treat a patient through the duration of their therapy.
It uses sensors and an electrically controlled valve and is powered by two small batteries.
