Coffee for Your Garden

Starbucks Pushes Coffee for Your Plants

It's no longer just your tastebuds that can enjoy the Starbucks experience; now your garden can take part in its enriching experience. Starbucks developed "Grounds For Your Garden", a program that reuses coffee grounds for composting.

The famous coffee company offers complimentary bags of coffee ground waste to customers, parks, schools and nurseries as an initiative for waste reduction. Coffee grounds make up the heaviest portion of waste in Starbucks.

The free coffee grounds are packed in recycled bags and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis to customers.
