The YMC x Merrell Moab Slide 2 Has a Modern Yet Vintage Feel

The YMC x Merrell Moab Slide 2 has been created through a collaboration between the brands that play on the current popularity of slip-on-style sneakers for 90s style fans alike to pick up.

The sneakers are constructed with a brushed leather upper that comes in blue and dark gray finishes, which is paired with a leather footbed on the inside made with the Merrell Air Cushion technology. The slip-on is paired with a Vibram recycled outsole that will offer wearers with a way to maximize their surefooted feeling when walking on uneven or slippery terrain.

YMC Creative Director Sage Toda-Nation spoke on the YMC x Merrell Moab Slide 2 saying, "Merrell’s Moab Slide reminded me of styles from the 90s, which ties into YMC’s origins and made it a natural fit for our SS25 collection. It’s an effortless functional design. Working with Merrell, who are masters of outdoor footwear, we wanted to make something that felt just as at home in the city as the great outdoors. We applied a YMC touch with materials and stylistic elements to create a unisex slide that does exactly that.”
