Making an electric car that looks like a giant crab eater ready to devour anybody that gets in its path may not be the best way to go, design-wise. But car designers like Marco Aurelio Galan Henriquez are taking their inspiration from the sea for their eco-friendly auto concepts like this Hyperion.

The Hyperion runs on a lithium-ion battery powered AC synchronous motor. Its carbon fiber body makes the Hyperion a safe vehicle to drive, even at high speeds. I can’t wait to see this concept made and then pimped. Stats for Crab-Inspired Electric Cars Trending: Older & Mild
