Merriam-Webster On line is a site that ordinarily determines the top ten most-frequently looked up Words of the Year by culling through thousands of anonymous hits to its On line Dictionary and On line Thesaurus.
This year, for the first time, visitors to Merriam-Webster On Line will be able to send in their own votes for the one word they feel best sums up the past eleven months and the one they believe most deserves the distinction of Merriam-Webster's Word of the Year for 2006.And this voting will be until 4-th of December and the results will be announced on line in the middle of December.
