With the 16gb iPhone hitting stores, it seems some customers are being duped into extending their contracts. However, according to AT&T themselves, if you are upgrading to the new 16gb iPhone there is no need to extend your contract. For activation purposes, you are issued a new contract, but their reps are supposed to post date your contract to your original start date. So if you were holding back on upgrading to avoid extending your contract, have no fear, no contract extensions are required! References: att, gizmodo Filed In: |
