New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark fell on her face Thursday while campaigning for reelection in a mall in the southern Kiwi city of Christchurch. When Ms Clark tripped over a chair, she tried to grab onto a nearby man for support, but fell on her face. Clark, who is usually much more graceful, was ranked as the 20th most powerful women in the world by Forbes in 2006. Falling, tripping and stumbling videos have gone viral in the past, as seen below. Falling prime ministers sounds like it has fame potential too, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for this one.  Ms Clark lay sprawled on the ground for a couple of seconds before she was hoisted back to her feet by security officials and government aides.
She swiftly continued her duties, greeting staff and the shopping centre as if nothing had happened.
