Falling at Miss Universe - Miss USA 2008 Stumbles, Miss Venezuela Wins (VIDEO)

While Miss Venezuela, Dayana Mendoza won the Miss Universe 2008 Pageant title, it is Miss USA Crystle Stewart who’s buzzing around the web with her fall.

Stewart followed in last year’s Miss USA Rachel Smith footsteps and fell down on stage. Interestingly, both falls happened during the evening gown competition. Maybe Miss USA should wear a shorter dress next year…

I have to commend Stewart though for keeping it under control and taking it in stride. She instantly laughed it off, stood up and went on to showcase her fierceness.

The 26 year old Stewart, who is a motivational speaker, will surely find the saying, ‘if you fall down, get up and try again’ as perfect material for her future speeches. She is currently writing a book entitled, “Waiting to Win.”

We’ll have to wait and see if Stewart’s fall will follow in last year’s Smith’s footstep and become a viral YouTube sensation.
