Big, chunky jewelry is where it is at this summer. With colorful and heavy stone and bead work, this season has taken a liking to tribal-inspired accessories. Bejeweled gem bracelets and thick, printed bangles can be the perfect match to any outfit. Long and heavy earrings with dangling pieces and two-toned hoops with chunky embellishments are being seen all over the runways. Even the necklaces are, well, huge! Many of the ones I have seen have an African-tribal feel and can be worn with almost any outfit. Whether you dress them up or down, these heavy duty must-haves are a great addition to any summer wardrobe! The rule of thumb: don’t over do it. These pieces are to enhance your outfit, not overrule it. Don’t wear too much all at once, just enough to give your outfit a little more life.  Necklaces are getting bolder and brighter as well. Worn over a dress or a T-shirt, a bold necklace will glam up your whole look. AND a bold necklace can make you look slimmer - how fabulous is that?
