The Transportation Management System is engineered to consolidate various fragmented processes into a single environment and, thus, reduce operational inefficiencies and the data errors often associated with using multiple, disconnected tools. Its development is informed by Transfix’s own decade of experience in operating a brokerage.
This event signifies a pivotal shift for the company from a digital freight broker to a dedicated freight technology firm, a strategic transformation that was initiated earlier in 2024 when it sold its brokerage operations to NFI, a major supply chain provider. NFI now intends to implement the Transportation Management System across its entire freight brokerage division.
