In today’s Western culture, physical contact with strangers is taboo, which is exactly why Richard Renaldi embarked on his ‘Touching Strangers’ photo project. The body language exhibited by the subjects in this collection varies widely; some look fairly comfortable, while other individuals look ready to run.

Photos from Richard Renaldi’s ‘Touching Strangers’ are featured in the November 2008 issue of Fraction Magazine. The images were captured from throughout the country between 2007 and 2008.
