Patricia Urquiola's Mater Tiles for Mutina are Stunning

Patricia Urquiola is a prominent Spanish-Italian architect and designer known for her innovative and eclectic approach and recently, she delivered a uniquely textured tile collection for Mutina. The designs are described as "bold yet organic" and for the aesthetic, Patricia Urquiola drew inspiration from 1950s graphics "and the artisanal ceramics of Vietri."

The tile collection by Patricia Uruqioola for Mutina is aptly named Mater, nodding "to the earth used to create the tile’s neutral base." The tile designs capture attention with their textured design, as well as the elegant glossy enamel which the designers through a VOC-free glazing process.

The Mater tile collection is versatile, in the sense that it is suitable for both residential and commercial environments.
