Thomas Wagstrom's 'Point Zero' Examines Identity Queries

The Stockholm-based photographer Thomas Wagstrom has made it his mission to address questions of an existential nature in his 'Point Zero' exhibit. The show, put on at Berlin's Swedish Photography gallery, is based on man's endless quest for identity in the world.

Wagstrom's boxing, smiling and brooding men have sought out their personal takes on identity in unlikely spots. Lively rings and cheering crowds have become ways of life for the committed athletes, far surpassing the description of the sport as a mere athletic activity.

Interestingly enough, Wagstrum's seemingly masculine subjects come across as graceful and almost vulnerable in his images. The men have yet to know themselves in full, and are still exploring new, unforeseen sides of their personalities. Stats for Existential Photogtaphy Exhibits Trending: Older & Average
