The Porte Pouchet Could be the World's Nicest Fire Station

The Porte Pouchet is a proposed firefighter station that would also include bedrooms, a glass fenced-in running track, a restaurant and even a soccer field.

The project is a collaboration between Jean Marc Ibos and Myrto Vitart, and would serve both as a fire station and a municipal motor transport depot. And while it might seem imposing from the exterior, it is actually designed to be a comfortable, lively and relaxing place for firefighters to spend their downtime in style. Needless to say, the Porte Pouchet will raise the global standard for how some of society's bravest heroes should be treated.
