A company in US is set to release a 1TB Sata Drive. MicroNet's Platinum NAS 4.0 will have a 4,000GB of space using only a 4 drives of SATA. This technology features a native multi-platform support meaning it would be compatible with all of the common operating systems. It also has a 256MB cache memory and supports RAID 0/1/5 and the new Intel XScale 64-but network storage processor. It has also a lightweight aluminum design and MicroNet announced that it would only consume 1/3 less power.
MicroNet priced this item for $879 and will be available in Q2 this year.
