This new benefit is being bestowed onto any Tesla owners that refer just one person to the company's cars through the Tesla referral program. To refer a friend, Tesla owners simply need to provide a referral code to their friends and family and they will then, in turn, receive a variety of rewards.
Known as “Launch Your Photo into Deep Space Orbit,” this new reward for the Tesla referral program is exactly what it sounds like. Simply, it allows owners to select a photo of their choice, have it laser-etched, then fired off into orbit. The deadline for this program is December 2018.
