If every person's relationship with their surroundings were as cooperative and harmonious as the Symbiotic chair, then the world might be a much better place. The Symbiotic chair induces a sense of appreciation for an object perceived as necessary by many cultures.
Designed by Joong Han Lee of Studio Homunculus, the Symbiotic chair relies as much as the sitter's own two legs as it does on the two back legs of the seat itself. By removing the two front legs, the Symbiotic chair "allows the user to feel empathy for the chair in a most tangible, physical way," according to the designer.
