Maiden Noir's 2019 Capsule is Inspired by Landscape Architecture

Seattle- and Tokyo-based contemporary label Maiden Noir draws from an interesting inspirational source for its spring and summer menswear offerings. In 2019, the brand dubbs the collection 'Jardim de Flor' and the ensembles take direct cues from the world of landscape architecture, particularly in regions of Brazil.

To reach a sophisticated level of authenticity, Maiden Noir looked toward Robert Burble Marx who has come to be known as the artist who "introduced modernist landscaping to Brazil." The result is wonderfully unique and cheerful summer menswear ensembles that turn heads thanks to their absolutely striking arrangement of colors and patterns. Maiden Noir embraced bright nuances and floral prints which is expected given the inspiration. However, the summer menswear line is subtly broken up by various camouflage inserts that bring "traditional streetwear sensibility" to the offerings.
