Architecturally Waved Houses

The Design 'Summer House' by Gunes Atakan Peksen Captures Movement

Movement and architectural structure are married into a perfect design with Summer House by Gunes Atakan Peksen.

The Istanbul-based architect was inspired by waves to create this stunning home concept. Although the modernist structure may appear restrictive, the inside is well thought out with an open concept. There is a cohesive sense of fluid relaxation in the design.

“The starting point of this contemporary Turkish house is more than shaping the form itself. It is shaping the life in it" says Peksen of his work. The theme is enhanced with a calming pool and large glass windows that are welcoming to light. The structure is monochromatic, minimalist and über chic in its absolute modernity.

Turkish design is put on the map with their fresh design ideas from burgeoning architects like Peksen who realize conceptual dreams.
