Stray Bullet Chair Takes after a Shoot 'em Up Design

It’s always interesting to see designs inspired by the unfortunate demise of certain objects such as the Stray Bullet Chair by Design da Gema.

The two owners of Design da Gema witnessed a shooting at a carioca bar from the Northern Zone of Rio de Janeiro. They decided to rescue one of the chairs and thankfully, it was repaired. The pair decided to celebrate by launching the Stray Bullet Chair series. Each of the seats have perforated holes/eyelets patterned at random so that it looks like it suffered an unfortunate drive-by shooting. This shoot ‘em up design gives it a badass aesthetic that’s stylishly modern.

The Stray Bullet Chairs are extremely limited in numbers with only 12 units produced. Prices are available upon request and it comes in either black or gray.
