If you abhor mass produced fashion and crave interesting, unique, hand-made accessories, then it is highly likely that you will fall in love with the magical work of jewelery designer, Betty Pepper. Pepper’s beautiful storytelling creations are inspired by stories, memories, and things from the past. Each piece is created using aged fabrics that seem to have a tale to tell of their past through the faint traces of perfume, pretty vintage buttons and snippets from the pages of old novels. Betty’s three current, yet constantly evolving collections are called Book Keeping, The Dressing Up Box and The Cloth Moth.  My work often deals with stories from the dim and distant past. This is why I choose to work with faded colours. I like the way they look as if they have lived a little.'
