It was bound to happen: the Lego Galactic Empire and the 2008 Beijing Olympics fused into a photo gallery of epic proportions. Alan Chia‘s Imperial Sportstroopers is a fantastic iteration of pop culture sports lore at its finest.

In the Imperial Sportstroopers gallery, you’ll see fencing, motocross, archery, and track and field by Star Wars Imperial Troopers. There’s the medal stand and the medal awards ceremony, complete with tiny Lego flag. Amazing!
