In New York's Upper East Side yesterday, Emmy Award-winning actress Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw) and Chris Noth (Big) began filming the first few scenes of the long anticipated movie version of “Sex and the City.” Dozens of paparazzi were on hand to add to the excitement. After the day's shooting, a kickoff celebration took place over at 415 Lafayette Street, on the western edge of East Village, at New York's popular hot spot, Butter. The movie release is expected in May 2008.
