Panels of sheer black fabric have been showing up on dresses since Madonna wore see-through Chanel to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony earlier this year.
Malin Akerman and model Hana Soukupova both paid homage to Madge by mirroring her sheer fashion beautifully at this week’s opening of the film ‘Filth and Wisdom,’ which was directed by Madonna.
At an event earlier this year, Kate Bosworth showed off her back and arms in a sexy halter-style sheer black dress. And Paris Hilton’s one-shouldered beaded mini with translucent skirt is pure elegance. A relaxed bow holds up a dress that would otherwise be strapless, and the extra length of sheer fabric makes the ultra-short dress super classy.
