Sam's Club Launches ‘Neu Direction' Wine

It’s often exceedingly difficult to find certified fair-trade goods, especially at a place like Wal-Mart, Costco or Sam’s Club. However, Wal-Mart Stores has just announced the launch of Neu Direction, a certified fair-trade wine from Lujan de Cuyo near Mendoza, Argentina.

This year marks the first year of the Fair Trade Wine certification program in the United States, and Neu Direction is one of the first wines to achieve this distinction. Neu Direction Malbec will sell for about $10 a bottle at Sam’s Club.
