Club Cola claims responsibility for this German ad which shows two old folks cavorting butt-naked without a care in the world while they live up to Club Cola's motto which is "For a Happy Life." The couple seems to be going skinny dipping and I say more power to them!
Implications - The common perception of beauty has revolved around youth for centuries; however, today's open-minded consumer looks at things a little differently. Age was once seen as ugly; a mark that someone was near death and used up--but there is beauty in age that is finally being recognized. Consumers today put value on experiences and wisdom over aesthetics, which is why seniors are more prevalent in pop culture.
