London's 'All Star Lanes' Blends Pins and Pin-Ups

All Star Lanes is making bowling hip again with retro styling. Music, cocktails and interiors that flash back to the 50’s attract a young crowd that may come for a drink and end up staying for a game or two. The London-based company has three locations in the city and is set to open a Dublin venue in 2009. The guys aren’t stopping there either; they have sights on Paris, Berlin and Honk Kong.

The throwback design of the bowling alleys starts with the front page of the website. From pin-up girls to ponytailed cocktail waitresses and retro interiors, the place has the theme nailed down. There’s even an All Star Lanes Pro Shop where you can purchase bowling shirts, shoes, exclusive tees, and other fun accessories.
