If you have ever wanted a high fashion designer garment straight from the runway but balked at paying the multi-thousand dollar price tag that comes attached, then the RentTheRunway website is for you.

The RentTheRunway website offers garments right off of the catwalk, which you can rent for anywhere between $50 and $200 for an evening. I suppose it is up to the customer of the RentTheRunway website as to whether it is worth it to shell out two hundred dollars to wear an outfit one night and not even be able to keep it stashed away in the back of your closet for the future.

I would definitely rent a dress for a formal event. There are some designers that make clothing worth the extra cash.

Rented with them and they actually cover rips, stains, etc = fantastic but, they are huge on quality and will notice if you send back a fake dress
