In prison, virtually anything can be used as a weapon to facilitate trading or even to escape. So, prison officials and guards must be alert to any potential dangers, even from seemingly harmless objects… like a pen. The Prison Pen is a specially-designed writing utensil created for prisoners… it’s flexible, soft and rubbery, and yet it works perfectly well for the purpose it was intended: writing - without endangering prison staff or prisoners. | Hmm, I don't think it prevents suicide though. I mean someone could still stick this through their own eye socket... Ofcourse they could always use there fingure if they where really desperate |
