15 Pop Culture Mosaics (SUPER GALLERY) Edit

Typically, a mosaic is made up of smaller images or pieces which together form one large image. They date back many centuries where they were crafted from materials like glass and stone.

While these traditional mosaic methods still exist, technology has helped them advance to new levels. On Trend Hunter, we have seen a range of new mosaic styles that speak to the pop cultural of today, from celebrity-themed to inspiration mosaics with a message.

A favourite are the photo mosaics made popular by programs like the Apple MacOSAiX screensaver which automatically creates these mosaics from personal photos stored on the Macs.
