From the Paris Auto Show Q & A, Audi officially announced they were working on an electric car. Speculation that the new electric car would be based on the Audi A1 was quashed; it looks like the Volkswagen UP! which was shown in Frankfort in 2007 will be the platform for the new Audi electric.
