Artist Nicholas Delille has a bone to pick with society as a whole in his Oppression Art series.

Painstakingly illustrated using 3D modelling software, Delille's thoughts and feelings on the pressures of modern society come through loud and clear in his art. There are three main pieces to the Oppression art, all of which display societal expectations as a horde of ravenous zombies. Between the presumed undead flesh-eating monsters surrounding the protagonists of each piece are signs and items vying for the attention of the victim. The items range from careers, life attitudes, cigarette packs, buildings, children, life partners and even game controllers. The gender specific colors of the zombies add an interesting touch to the work as well.

The Oppression art series is astonishingly deep stuff that anyone who has felt pulled in all directions by societal expectations should be able to relate to.
