Mobile Phone Bike Rentals

The OYBike System is spanking new bike rental system which allows users to hire and return a bicycle via their mobile phone.

The bikes can be found at transport hubs such as Tube Stations. Now here is the clever bit;

Each bike stand is equipped with a lock and LCD display. A would be OYBike customer find a bike and the the code the LDC screen is displaying. They send this to OYBke and a unique pin code is then sent back by text messaging. Entering this into the lock releases the bicycle. This pin code is entered into the lock to release the bicycle.

A perfect example of technology allowing to be more green.
