Cheese Grater Architecture

The 'O House' by Philippe Stubbei is a Celebration of Circles

The 'O House' by Philippe Stubbei is gorgeous, but it sort of reminds me of a cheese grater. With its rows of circular cutouts, it's hard to believe that the 'O House' is a residential abode rather than a contemporary design museum or art gallery.

Perhaps the futuristic design of the 'O House' is inspired by the cheese for which its Switzerland location is most famous. What do you think?

Implications - Consumers are almost immediately drawn to the products with which they are able to relate or to those that generate a sense of familiarity. These types of products come across as more approachable and are much more likely to be invested in by consumers than those that are not.
