Berluti's Spring/Summer 2019 Reinterprets New Wave Through Modernism

The Spring/Summer 2019 collection by Berluti is riddled with references to new wave fashion. This is the first capsule, released under the direction of Kris Van Assche.

The clothing entertains a slick and elegant aesthetic that easily navigates the fields of casual and formal wear. The silhouettes are well-tailored, exude sophistication and entertain a minimalist palette of colors. A lot of the outfits in Berluti's Spring/Summer 2019 lookbook are presented to be the inverse of each other. A good example of this is the two gentlemen — one dressed in a white suit, a black dress shirt with black piping and black footwear, while the other is sporting a black suit, with a white shirt and predominantly white sneakers.

The contemporary new wave fashion collection also calls attention to some accessories and bags.
