New Species of Limbless Lizard Discovered in India

There's lots of excitement in the world of zoology in India these days. Sushil Kumar Dutta a zoologist from India led a team of researchers from "Vasundhra," a non-governmental organization, and the North Orissa University to the discovery of a limbless lizard that can only be found in India. This lizard looks like a cross between what we would call a snake and a scaly lizard. The new species is part of the genus Sepsophis family or "skink" family common to India. At this time, the species is still un-named until more data is collected on this new discovery.
