It seems that the huge success of the recent black issue of Vogue Italia has started a revolution in the fashion magazine world. Want proof? The new Fall 2008 issue of POP magazine has six covers evenly split between three black models and three white ones. Naomi Campbell, Agyness Deyn, Jourdan Dunn, Natalia Vodianova, Amber Valletta, and Oluchi Onweagba grace the different dramatic covers with a theme of "Hot Nuns."
The six models are styled in Prada's sexy see-through lace and captured by photographer Sebastian Faena. The art direction bears a striking resemblance to Madonna's 'Like a Virgin' days.
My favorite has to be Agyness with her punk spunk sexed-up nun in see through lace. Jourdan also delivers an eye-catching cover with her Frida Kahlo uni-brow, while Naomi strikes a mean a pose, as she always does. Salute to diveristy!
